He has a degree and a PhD in chemistry from the University of Barcelona and the University Rovira i Virgili, and is a Professor of the winemaking faculty of Tarragona. He is a member of several tasting committees and studies on the quality of corks as well as the creation of sparkling wines.

Our decision to work from the very roots of the selection of the wine and the investigation to obtain varieties and blends which are well structured and of high quality, has meant that Miquel Pons has a very balanced philosophy and is thoroughly committed to maintaining the most natural characteristics of our products.

Our passion for creating new wines and cavas with their own personality and the enthusiasm for maintaining our family tradition form part of both the present and the future development of our range.
