    Homage to 77 harvests of Miquel Pons, founder of Miquel Pons winery, who has devoted all his life taking care of grapes from vineyards to the cellar for more than 77 harvests

    AGEING:

    Minimum 8 months in French or American oak barrels of 300 litres and 1 month in the bottle.

    ELABORATION AND TASTING NOTES:

    Fermented in inox tanks and aged in 300l of French and American oak barrels. The posterior ageing depends of the variety, for Garnatxa and Syrah two and three years old barrels are used, to minimize the impact of wood hints, and for Cabernet Sauvignon new oak barrels are used in order to achieve vanilla and toasted hints in this wine.
    77 harvests is cherry red colour with violet hints. Aromatically elegant with red and black fruits aromas (cherry, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry) and oak aromas (vanilla and smoked). On the palate is balanced, creamy and round with mainly hints of red and black fruits, followed by licorice, pepper, floral (violet) and Mediterranean herbs. At the end the wine shows caramel, chocolate, coffee and vanilla.
